Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012 II

The Aamby Valley India Bridal Week 2012 ended its couture run with designer JJ Valaya bringing down the curtains on the six-day bridalwear extravaganza. Besides him, Pallavi Jaikishan, Vikram Phadnis, Shane and Falguni Peacock and Mandira Wirk also presented their interpretations of the modern bride on the ramp.      

Vikram Phadnis presented a signature bridalwear collection, replete with heavy embellishment and his 'Bollywood touches'. Showstopper Soha Ali Khan looked every bit like a bride and said she's finally broken a jinx with this show.

The event also saw many biggies, including Mehr Jessia Rampal, Sridevi Kapoor, Shekhar Suman and Anu Malik. Gehna Jewellers provided jewellery for the show.

A gold leaf and strands of gold beads were entwined in the models coiffures to match the regal beauty of the creations 

Multi colours and fabrics were a favourite with Vikram for most of his ensembles including the saris, cholis, kurtas and lehengas.

Soha Ali Khan was the showstopper- in a red and gold lehenga, a royal blue velvet choli and red tulle dupatta all dazzling with amazing lush embroidery.
